Understand how you run. Find out what you can improve.
No two people run in exactly the same way. The way your feet, ankles, knees, hips and upper body move together can have a significant effect on how efficiently you run and how your body copes with the demands of running.
A Running Biomechanical & Movement Analysis takes a detailed look at the way you move when you run. Rather than simply focusing on where something hurts, we look at your overall movement to help identify imbalances, weaknesses or movement patterns that may be contributing to discomfort, recurring injuries or inefficient running.

What can a running analysis tell you?
During your assessment, we’ll look at how your body moves as a whole, including areas such as posture, balance, stability, coordination and the movement of your feet, ankles, knees and hips.
The aim is to identify why you move the way you do, not simply to point out what’s happening.
Your analysis can help to:
- Identify movement patterns that may be contributing to recurring injuries or discomfort.
- Highlight muscular imbalances, weaknesses or restrictions.
- Identify areas where your running technique could be improved.
- Improve movement efficiency and control.
- Support rehabilitation following an injury or surgery.
- Reduce unnecessary stress on joints and muscles.
- Provide a clear, individual plan for improving the way you move and run.
Our pioneering Movement Re-Patterning Method, developed by Mike Antoniades, stands at the forefront of our approach. Whether you’re aiming to return to daily activities, running, or competitive sports, this method has proven to be a game-changer in redefining movement patterns for enhanced performance and injury prevention.
It’s not just for injured runners
You don’t need to be injured to benefit from a biomechanical assessment.
If you run regularly, are returning to running after a break, are increasing your training or simply want to understand your running technique better, an assessment can highlight areas worth working on before they become a problem.
For runners already experiencing pain or repeatedly picking up the same injury, it allows us to look beyond the symptoms and investigate whether the way you move could be part of the reason the problem keeps returning.

Running Analysis for Children — £75
Children grow and develop quickly, and their movement can change significantly as they do.
Our children’s assessment looks at the way your child runs and moves, helping to identify movement patterns, coordination issues, weaknesses or imbalances that may be affecting their running.
It can be particularly useful for young people who take part in running, football, rugby, athletics or other sports, as well as children who experience recurring discomfort when exercising.
The emphasis isn’t on trying to create a “perfect” running style. It’s about understanding how your child moves and helping them develop strong, efficient movement as they grow.
Running Analysis for Adults — £105
Whether you’re starting Couch to 5K, training for your next marathon, returning from injury or have been running for years, your assessment is centred around you and your running.
We’ll identify the areas that could benefit from improvement and explain our findings in straightforward terms, giving you practical recommendations based on what we see.
The objective is simple: help you understand your movement, address potential problems and get more from your running.
Move better. Run better.
A biomechanical assessment isn’t about completely changing the way you run. Small improvements in strength, control, mobility or technique can sometimes make a meaningful difference.
By understanding what’s happening throughout your body when you run, we can focus on the areas that actually need attention rather than relying on guesswork.
