Improve My Running – Terms and Conditions
1. General Terms
- 1.1. The services provided by Improve My Running are designed to support your running and fitness goals through personalised guidance, training plans, and coaching.
- 1.2. Coaching is not a substitute for professional medical care, mental health services, or physical therapy.
- 1.3. By engaging with Improve My Running, you acknowledge that:
- Coaching is intended to enhance performance and enjoyment, not to diagnose, treat, or cure any medical or mental health conditions.
- Any advice or training recommendations are followed at your own discretion and risk.
- It is your responsibility to consult a qualified healthcare professional before beginning any new exercise program.
2. Face-to-Face Coaching
- 2.1. Appointments:
- All cancellations must be made by phone (including voicemail) or email at least 24 hours before your appointment. Failure to do so will result in a full charge for the missed appointment.
- Please arrive promptly and allow sufficient time to warm up to maximise your session. Late arrivals beyond 15 minutes may not be accommodated.
- 2.2. Payments:
- Payments must be made upfront. You are responsible for full payment of the sessions booked.
- Six-session blocks must be completed within 10 weeks of the first session unless an extension is agreed upon with your coach.
- 2.3. Non-Transferable:
- Sessions are non-transferable to another individual.
- 2.4. Injuries or Delays:
- If you are injured and need to pause your sessions, please notify us as soon as possible to discuss arrangements.
- 2.5. Refund Policy:
- Due to the upfront preparation of individual programs and video analysis, refunds or credits are limited:
- After the Biomechanical Analysis session: 50% credit.
- After two sessions: No refunds.

- 3.1. Coaching Structure:
- Coaching involves a collaborative process of training plan creation, regular feedback, and progress monitoring.
- You will receive tailored plans based on your objectives, goals, and any health or injury information provided.
- 3.2. Responsibility for Feedback:
- Online clients are expected to provide timely feedback through our check-in forms or other communication methods to ensure coaching remains effective.
- All training data shared (e.g., heart rate, pace) will be reviewed as part of your ongoing plan.
- 3.3. Cancellations and Changes:
- Online coaching services must be cancelled with at least 7 days’ notice before the next billing period.
- 3.4. Injuries or Health Concerns:
- Notify your coach immediately if injuries or health concerns arise to allow for appropriate modifications to your plan.
4. Methodology
- 4.1. Sessions may involve treadmill running, strength exercises, and non-treadmill-based activities.

- 7.1. While every effort is made to ensure the safety and effectiveness of coaching services, Improve My Running is not liable for any injuries, health issues, or other outcomes arising from participation in training plans or sessions.
