Devil of the Highlands Race 2017

This year’s Scottish ultra marathon championships were held at the Devil of the Highlands race yesterday. Dundee DRAM win for Rachel

Rachel Newstead as been training with us here at Improve my Running. Its all coming together, and she scooped up a win at the Dundee DRAM marathon this weekend. It was hot and windy conditions, so not an easy day out, but a great result for her.

Edinburgh Marathon 2017

We are really excited about Richard Meade’s achievement at the Edinburgh marathon. Richard had been struggling with injuries before coming to see us, and had been training towards the marathon. He came in 5th place with a time of 2.38. Well done Richard!!

Montane spine race

Congratulations to IMR runner Neil Rutherford on his epic finish at the uk’s toughest race. In horrific conditions and with bad luck, getting stuck for 9 hours on top of one of the highest points, he still managed a top 20 finish. Absolutely amazing strength and willpower, well done.
